Additional LOT QC method: Luminometry. Produces 5.97% of specific activity with x11 firefly luciferase when saponified with pig liver esterase (Sigma, USA) compared to saponified D-luciferin methyl ester (AAT Bioquest, USA) with 1mM substrates, 1.3ug enzyme and 2mM ATP.
